Nominations for the Podcast Awards open on June 15, 2005. This will be the inaugural event of The Peoples Choice Podcast Awards. They have many different categories, from Best Produced through World News. They hope to make this an annual event.

They say there will be very strict rules and they will be on the watch for anyone trying to manipulate the contest. Nominations and Voting can only be done from the Podcast Awards site - no off-site voting.
