Google Announces Beta Version of AdSense Ads for RSS News Feeds

Just read on ClickZ that Google is opening up their beta program for AdSense on RSS feeds (news feeds).  Obviously the rapid growth of blogs and news readers has gotten Google's attention!

Ads placed in Google's AdWords will now automatically begin appearing in news feeds.  You cannot yet target ads by feed or bid separately for ads that will be on RSS news feeds, but then this is just the beginning.  They will be contextual - keywords in a feed will determine what ads are shown, just like Google AdSense on regular web pages.

If you have an RSS newsfeed with more than 100 active subscribers, Google is also accepting applications for the new AdSense program.
