CSS Zen Garden - Power and Grace with Stylesheets
If you've never seen CSS Zen Garden, you're in for a surprise. It's the first time I've ever been speechless from seeing beautiful web site designs. And then I realized they were pure CSS - no tables! I wouldn't have believed you could do some of the things you can see there. It was (is?) a contest. Given an html file that you cannot change, people could only change the design by modifying the CSS style sheet. On the right, you'll see a list of designs. Click a link, and the style sheet will be applied to the same html file. Some of the designs are amazing, especially when you realize that the only difference is in the style sheet!
