Brain Storm Technique - Creativity, Innovation and Unconventional Thinking
Okay, I admit it: sometimes I'm far too analytical and logical for my own good.
Brain storm technique? Creativity? Innovation?
By day I'm an engineer, and it shows in the way I think and approach life. But if you want to really change your life, start something new, and be successful, you usually need to get out of the box. You need creativity, innovation, unconventional thinking. You need a brain storm technique to help you think unconventionally and creatively.
Engineers are great at brain storming and solving problems once problems are identified, but sometimes it takes a different mindset and brain storm technique to identify huge entrepreneurial opportunities. If you can think out of the box, I think you're much more likely to come up with an opportunity for creative innovation that no one has yet thought of.
I just read a nice little article that brought a smile to my face and made me think about this: Grey Sense and Business Matter, by Keana Martin.
One of the most difficult things for some people is figuring out what they want to do. You may know you want a business on the Internet. You may know that the Internet presents a huge opportunity. You may even know how to do the mechanics of creating a Website, creating Web services, running a business, etc., or be working with someone who knows this. But you may not know what to do! Often that's the hardest part of starting a new business. Especially if you're an analytical and logical person more than a creative person.
The biggest limitation I see that keeps people from huge success on the Internet is doing the same thing everyone else is doing...but not as well. Imagine if you could instead come up with a brilliantly simple and useful creative innovation - something no one else has done, or a way to do something in a totally different way than anyone else is doing.
Creative innovation is the way people create breakaway success that others only dream of. That's what creates empires like Amazon.com or WalMart. Do you want to make $200 extra a month? Or do you want to be a millionaire - or even a billionaire? You're not likely to become a billionaire by thinking like everyone around you. You need a brain storm technique. You need creativity, innovation.
If you're at that stage where you're trying to think about what you want to do... or if you just want to read a nice article that might bring a smile to your face, get you out of your box, and maybe even give you a couple brain storm techniques or ideas to lead you to that brilliant creative innovation, you might enjoy Keana's article, Grey Sense and Business Matter...
