Darren went through the top 30 blogs a few months back and started analyzing which ones had income streams.  Then he wrote an excellent article that reveals a lot about how the most popular blogs make money.  It turns out that all 30 of the top blogs have an income stream.  All but one use advertising or affiliate programs.  The one hold out takes donations.
